Arlington got a glimpse of race weekend energy as AJ Foyt Racing driver Santino Ferrucci installed a branded wrap on Globe Life Field. From a lift, the driver of the No. 14 Chevrolet applied the wrap with precision, giving fans and media a behind-the-scenes look at the work that goes into creating a world-class motorsports event. Positioned between Lot B and Texas Live!, spectators could watch him work while seeing the grandstands rise in the background, a visual reminder that race weekend is taking shape across the city.
“Having Santino involved in this installation emphasizes the hands-on nature of our event,” said Bill Miller, President of the Java House Grand Prix of Arlington. “Every step brings us closer to delivering an unforgettable race weekend for fans, teams and the Arlington community.”
Ferrucci, a Dallas resident, is returning for his fourth consecutive season with AJ Foyt Racing and entering his sixth full-time season in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. His involvement highlights the connection between drivers and the cities they race in, reinforcing the accessibility and engagement that define the series.
“Coming out here to do a street race in Texas, this place is meant for it in my opinion. The roads are so nice. The infrastructure is so smooth. This is going to be one of the best street courses that I feel like I have been on in the United States,” said Ferrucci.
Globe Life Field, at the heart of Arlington’s entertainment district, serves as a cornerstone location within the Java House Grand Prix of Arlington footprint. This installation is part of broader construction efforts across multiple zones leading up to race weekend.
As additional milestones are reached, the Java House Grand Prix of Arlington team continues to work closely with city leaders, partners and INDYCAR to prioritize safety, communication and fan experience while delivering a world-class temporary street circuit.
